Planet Pickle
I’m a high school student from Westport, Connecticut who combined my passions for cooking, science, and the environment to create Planet Pickle. Planet Pickles are handmade from the freshest cucumbers, sourced from local farms right here in Fairfield County, Connecticut. I spent many hours in the kitchen creating the perfect, lightly spicy pickle recipe which offers subtle contrasting notes that highlight the pairings of dill, garlic, cloves, cucumber, and my own blend of seasonings. I hope you enjoy them!

What we do
Process
Each jar of pickles is made by hand in small batches using a sous-vide cooking method.
Environmental Initiative
My pickles are made in reusable glass mason jars to reduce waste, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to environmental research groups.
I-dill-ology
Planet Pickle operates on the i-dill-ology that you can take a practice that was initially meant as a survival technique, preserving food through harsh weather conditions, and turn it into an art form.
Fun Fact
Julius Caesar fed pickles to his troops in the belief that they offered strength for the mind, body, and spirit
